You can be confident that I am a trained, fully qualified and licensed counsellor. I am a member of the International Society of Professional Counsellors [ISPC] and adhere to their Code of Ethics and Practice. I am fully insured and have enhanced disclosure CRB clearance.
I have over 12 years experience counselling adults having worked as a volunteer for a Nottingham based charity since 2001. The charity sees adults, couples and children providing a range of therapeutic interventions. I also provide supervision to other counsellors who volunteer for the charity.
In April 2009, I set up a private counselling practice, I have a comfortable easily accessible setting in Eastwood, just off the main Nottingham Road.
For your convenience and to make counselling more accessible for you I also offer home-based or workplace counselling and counselling via telephone or Skype.
I also contract with employers to offer counselling to employees with personal or work-related issues. Please contact me for a details of my fee for this service.
In March 2010 I began work as a volunteer with Nottingham Prison. I worked on a programme providing a faith-based 12-step recovery programme for anyone who wants to address their attitude towards offending behaviour. The recovery programme was called Celebrate Recovery.
